We offer small group reformer classes for both the ante natal and post natal period for mothers wanting to stay strong throughout their pregnancy and to help with their recovery post birth.
We are running both ante and post natal reformer & strength training classes from our Springwood & Penrith studios. Classes are limited to 8 women and allow for tailored exercise programming depending on your individual needs.
Reformer pilates is a great form of exercise as it’s low impact on your joints and is safe for you to complete throughout your entire pregnancy and post partum, with modifications where necessary. Expect to work all your muscles including your core, to help manage fatigue, back and pelvic pain, improve your posture and balance as your centre of gravity shifts, and to help reduce and manage other pelvic floor related complications such as incontinence.
These classes will also help you manage Diastasis Rectus Abdominus (abdominal separation) post birth and even regain your pelvic floor strength and general strength to help you keep up with your growing baby.
Steps for program
- Give us a call on 4707 7671 to book in your initial consultation with one of our women’s health exercise physiologists
- During your initial consultation, we’ll chat about your goals, current symptoms, trial some exercise and plan out your individual program.
- Attend a 6 week block of reformer classes and start to feel stronger, empowered and meet other mothers in your community
- Have a follow up chat after completing a 6 week block of classes to discuss ongoing goals
- Have access to our mother’s community group and ongoing support and education throughout your pregnancy and after your little one arrives
- Lastly, feel great, move better, manage symptoms and have fun!
